ACTIVATION: SUNDAE BODY VALENTINE’S DAY ROSE DROP STUNT

Activation:

Celebrating one of the most romantic days of the year, Movement Agency executed a stunt activation with Sundae Body to surprise Sydneysiders with a little Valentine’s Day self care treat! 

To celebrate Sundae Body’s new Marshmallow Whipped Shower Foam scent, Movement Agency dropped 100 single stem roses across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs on locals' car windshields. Attached to each single stem rose was a QR coded swing tag, which gifted locals who received a rose a free Marshmallow Whipped Shower Foam to redeem online through the Sundae Body website. 

We organise a photographer to be on site for each location where we capture the stunt being executed, as well as consumers' reactions to the sweet surprise as they approach their cars and go about their day. 

The stunt aimed to drive awareness around Sundae’s new shower foam but also give back to the community and celebrate ahead of the romantic day by encouraging consumers to be their own valentine this year and treat themselves to a little self care. 

Strategy:

Our goal was to surprise Sydneysiders with this surprise gift on their car windshields by generating awareness around Sundae’s new Marshmallow Whipped Shower Foam, but also drive community engagement and loyalty by strengthening the brand's relationship with its audience.

  • The roses were appreciated by many Sydneysiders as they approached their cars, expressing their gratitude on site, which generated positive public interactions. 

  • By activation in high foot traffic locations, we were able to engage with a wide range of people, which assisted in strengthening Sundae Body’s relationship with its community. 

  • The stunt activation left a lasting impression, which reinforced Sundae Body’s brand messaging and positioning as the body care brand that is always there for you, bringing the fun back into your body care routines. 

  • The stunt also communicated to locals that this Valentine’s Day, whether you have a partner or not, you can celebrate the romantic day by choosing yourself and treating yourself to a little love and self care.
