EVENT: MOTTO PRE-SCREENING OF THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2
Event:
To celebrate the launch of The Devil Wears Prada 2, Motto Fashions hosted an exclusive pre-screening in Melbourne.
The evening brought together an intimate group of some of Melbourne’s most influential women, all dressed head to toe in Motto, for a stylish night of fashion and film. Hosted at Palace Cinemas Balwyn, guests were treated to bespoke canapes, custom cocktails and classic cinema snacks as they viewed the highly anticipated unreleased film, The Devil Wears Prada 2.
The space was transformed into a chic and stylish space, featuring draped installations, movie inspired posters and branded snack stations. With great company, plenty of laughs and picture perfect moments throughout, the night placed Motto at the centre of fashion culture.
Strategy:
Movement Agency produced a culturally relevant moment for Motto by aligning the brand with one of fashion’s most iconic film sequels. The event was curated with a strong focus on creating an immersive and aesthetically cohesive experience that would translate seamlessly across social platforms.
From guest list curation to styling elements, every touchpoint was considered to reflect Motto’s brand identity while encouraging organic content creation. Styling played a key role, with attendees dressed exclusively in Motto to reinforce brand visibility and incorporating Motto and the film's branding into every styling element to create a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing event.
To amplify reach, a targeted mix of fashion and lifestyle KOLs were invited, ensuring alignment with Motto’s audience and maximising both reach and engagement. Clear talent briefing allowed for consistent messaging, while still giving creators the flexibility to showcase their personal style and perspective.
The guest list featured leading female figures in fashion and lifestyle, including Mary Kalifatidis, Lorinska Merrington (starred in Netflix series, Yummy Mummies), Rebecca Zukowski and Rachel Gilmore (contestants on the latest MAFs season), Sharon Johal and Motto co-founders Lauren French and Faye Browne. This ensured alignment with Motto's target audience, delivering both reach and relevance across key verticals.
