EVENT: THE SUNDAE ‘SCENT WORLD’ BODY MIST COLLECTION LUNCHEON
Situation:
Australia’s leading and most innovative body care brand, Sundae Body, hosted an intimate luncheon at The Terrace in The Royal Botanical Gardens in Melbourne to celebrate the launch of their new Body Mist Collection.
Guests enjoyed the opportunity to experience their very own Barbie moment with six giant dollhouse boxes that they could walk into and take social content. Inside each of the six boxes, there were doll props along with the Body Mist scent that aligned with the fragrance notes and theme.
An exclusive masterclass also took place, which was hosted by scent expert Samantha Taylor. The class taught guests how to scent-layer their fragrances and create a fragrance that was unique to their personal style. Finally, a lunch was provided to guests, where they enjoyed a delicious meal along with refreshing beverages and cocktails!
The entire venue was styled to incorporate each of the six scents' unique fragrance notes and personalities, from the table styling to the fragrance bar. Guests were encouraged to step into the world of Sundae and experience each scent like never before.
Strategy:
In collaboration with Sundae Body, Movement Agency showcased the Sundae Body Mist Collection through an immersive event focused on scent-layering. This event generated a diverse array of user-generated content on both Instagram and TikTok.
Key Melbourne-based influencers, including Snezana Wood, Tahnee Cook, TikTok Mega Influencer, Unice Wani, Gemma Watts, Claire Bridgett, Tully Smyth and Imogen Vitsanis, were invited to celebrate the world of Sundae Body! As a result, Movement Agency received a wide range of social media content, including Instagram stories, posts, and reels, as well as TikTok videos. Guests were inspired to capture the event and highlight aesthetically pleasing elements, which prompted them to share their experiences on their social channels.
