LIME X MOHR TAKEOVER
Activation:
To celebrate the rollout of its next generation LimeBike fleet and the launch of LimePrime on the Gold Coast, Lime partnered with local Mohr Cafe & Deli for a community focused activation.
For one morning only, the Burleigh Heads cafe was transformed into a Lime takeover, inviting locals to grab a treat and experience the brand in a more tangible way. The first 200 guests received complimentary Lime & Coconut Cold Brew and Key Lime Pie, and also unlocked 15 minutes of free Lime rides to trial the upgraded bikes.
Strategy:
Movement Agency developed and executed an activation designed to drive awareness of Lime’s new LimeBike fleet and LimePrime subscription on the Gold Coast. The new LimeBikes was on display at the cafe, where locals can also unlock 15 minutes of free Lime rides with a unique code.
The partnership also supported a local business, aligning with Lime’s focus on engaging with the communities where it operates. To increase awareness, Movement Agency collaborated with Mohr Cafe & Deli on a joint Instagram post promoting the event. The post generated more than 10K views and drove additional foot traffic, with multiple attendees visiting after seeing the content on social media.

The Lime x Mohr Cafe & Deli takeover generated strong community engagement, with all 200 complimentary food and beverage offerings redeemed during the activation. The morning drove organic conversation around Lime’s new fleet and LimePrime subscription and reinforced Lime’s position as an affordable and accessible way to move around the Gold Coast.
The activation also generated earned media coverage in leading what's on outlet Urban List as well as in local publications, including Inside Gold Coast and InDaily QLD.
